The Outreach team here at NY4P has been busy planning a new outreach initiative called, “How’s Your Park, NYC?” We’ll be holding a series of borough-specific meetings this fall, and we want you to join us in Brooklyn!
As we gear up for the next round of budget advocacy, we want to hear directly from our network of park stewards and advocates – that is, all of you! We want to know how things are going in your parks, playgrounds, and gardens. The feedback we receive will help NY4P direct our advocacy resources where it matters most. We’ll be forming borough-wide coalitions to push for a better budget for parks, and we hope you can all be a part of this new call to action to improve all parks for all New Yorkers, from Staten Island to the Bronx. Our Brooklyn meeting is fast approaching, so please help us spread the word. Join us to share what’s happening on the ground in your communities, as well as learn about new resources NY4P has available to you and your fellow park stewards.
