During the December scope meeting for Lincoln Terrace Park’s playground, several community members discussed the potential for hosting a community meeting focused on Lincoln Terrace Park. The goal of this effort would be to bring together Lincoln Terrace Park users to communicate about upcoming programs and events, care for the park, and connect to resources to support park groups. Please let me know if you are interested in helping to plan and organize the first community meeting. We could consider dates in March or April.
As a first step to building a core group of Lincoln Terrace Park users and stakeholders, I would also like to invite you all to join us for the upcoming free Partnerships Academy workshop: How to Start or Join a Community Park Group.
ü CONNECT to community park groups in your neighborhood
ü HEAR from experienced park group leaders in your borough
ü GAIN 5 free parks resources
ü LEARN the first 3 steps to starting a new group
Thank you again for participating in the Lincoln Terrace Park scope meetings.
Best,
Emily
