Join Senator Jesse Hamilton for the Shirley Chisholm Women of Excellence Awards and Reception in recognition of Women’s History Month. Sentor Hamilton will continue her legacy by recognizing the achievements of iconic Brooklyn Women on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the historic First Baptist Church located at 450 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, N.Y. at 6:00 p.m.
This event is hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo, Assemblywoman Jo Anne Simon, District Leader Shirley Patterson and Green Earth Poets Cafe. The event will include live entertainment, appetizers and gift bags for all attendees.
