During these tumultuous times, facts and evidence-based science are imperative in understanding how to contain, overcome, and survive this pandemic. In getting a better understanding of these issues, I would like to invite your organization to attend my upcoming virtual event “Winter is Coming: Tackling the COVID-19 Pandemic”, on Thursday, October 29, 2020. According to the nytimes.com (2020) there have been 23,944 deaths in NYC since the beginning of the pandemic. This will be a critical analysis of America’s inadequate response to the novel coronavirus infection and a practical solution/hard data approach to navigating this crisis.
Attached to this email, you will find three documents related to the event. The flyer is for you to share with your networks to increase attendance and awareness. Also, I’ve shared Dr. Donald’s Moore’s report on America’s Inadequate Public Health Response. He will present his findings during 20 minutes of the event. We ask that you please review his report and feel free to refer to his findings in your presentations. Dr. Helen Gayle’s report can also be accessed here: Framework for Equitable Allocation of COVID-19 Vaccine
